The Château d'Aguilar  (Aguilar Castle) is a Cathar castle located in Tuchan. Belonging to Termes family, it then became a royal fortress in the XIIIth century, its construction began in XIIth century. It is situated on a hill (96m), and belongs to "Five Sons of Carcassonne". It was finally abandoned in 1569. The external enclosure is composed of six semi-circular towers, which has was flanked with a rectangular tower. The view is as beautiful as that of the castle of Quéribus, so it's worth going up there to admire this gorgeous landscape!

Olivia Blanc, known as Olivia Ruiz is a french pop singer. She was born on January, 1st 1980 in Carcassonne, a town in our district. She is the daughter of the musician Didier Blanc, tough, later, she will take her grandmother's maiden name : Ruiz. In 2001, she was a candidate in the first french edition of Star Academy, a very famous and popular TV show but, above all, a music contest.

As some of you probably now, the fimo is a kind of modeling dough that is baked in an oven.
